'The Golden Paintbrush II'
On the occasion of its 15th anniversary HABOTAI organised an international competition for silk painting artists called 'The Golden Paintbrush'. The response was overwhelming, with entries from across the world and the winner was Shinzo Kajiwara from Japan, seen here with his works of art painted on silk.
THE GOLDEN PAINTBRUSH II
In 2020 HABOTAI turned 30 and to celebrate we organised the 'The Golden Paintbrush II'. We invited all silk painting enthusiasts to vote for the winner of this online exhibition. All nominated works are published hereunder.
HABOTAI would like to thank all the participants of the competition which was very prolific: we had the honour of welcoming 59 silk painters from 24 different countries.
